Nestled between Chinatown and South Station in Boston’s Leather District, Splash Ultra Lounge & Burger Bar is Frank DePasquale’s latest venture inspired by the posh nightlife destinations of Miami, Vegas and L.A. Located at 150 Kneeland Street, the water-themed venue boasts a picturesque roof deck in addition to a swanky ultra lounge offering state of the art billiards and after-hours dining till 2 a.m.
DePasquale’s inspiration came from a visit to the Las Vegas night clubs, Tao Beach, Wet Republic, Rehab at The Hard Rock Hotel and Venus at Caesar’s Palace. “My vision was to introduce something with a water-theme to the day and nightlife scene that’s unlike anything else in Boston,” said DePasquale, who owns and operates DePasquale Ventures. “It’s going to offer that same loungy, hip, modern feel similar to Vegas, L.A. and Miami.”
Splash’s entrance features a glass wall with trickling water, leading to a posh ultra lounge which exudes a relaxed vibe with low-slung, black leather seating, Plasma TVs, state of the art billiards, private rooms and a private VIP lounge. In addition to the ultra lounge, Splash boasts a spacious, picturesque roof deck with a full bar, DJ booth and dazzling decorative fountain, surrounded by plush Miami-style cabanas and beds garnished with shrubbery.
As Boston’s newest swank ultra-lounge, Splash hosts nightly DJs spinning house, international, top 40’s and mash-up, serving as a chill nightlife destination for both locals and tourists who want to see and be seen. In the spring and summer months, Sundays will play host to “Rehab”, where diners can enjoy brunch and cocktails in a private cabana or while relaxing in the sun.
